Worship in the Lutheran church is about community in relationship with
God. When you come for worship at Dekorra Lutheran Church,
you can expect to experience that relationship in so many different and
amazing ways.
As a community we gather together to love, forgive, and serve
one another as Children of God.
As God's children we gather in thanksgiving for what God has
first given to us, and we gather around the Word and Sacraments.
Please join us for traditional worship every Sunday at 8:00am
and 10:00am with coffee and fellowship between services at
9:00!
Our communion schedule is the first, third, and fifth Sunday
of the month. As an ELCA Lutheran Church we believe that in
the night in which Jesus was betrayed, our Lord took bread, gave
thanks, and gave it to all to eat and drink for the forgiveness of
their sins. As a community of faith we invite all to come to
God’s table believing in the risen Lord Jesus Christ!
During the school season we also offer Sunday school for children grades 3 year
old-6th grade. Sunday School times are from 9:10am – 10:15am.
